About SPSU

Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) was founded in 1948. We are an accredited institution of the University System of Georgia. SPSU is nationally accredited by SACS, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

SPSU is located in the city of Marietta, Georgia, which is approximately 15 minutes north of downtown Atlanta. We are approximately 30 minutes north of Hartsfield International Airport.

At our campus, we currently offer Bachelor of Science Degrees in Engineering Technology, Engineering,Construction, Architecture, Environmental Development, Mathematics, Physics, Technical & Professional Communication, and Computer Science.

In addition, at our campus we surrently offer Master of Science Degrees in Quality Assurance, Technical & Professional Communication, Construction, Engineering Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology and Systems Engineering. We also offer a Masters in Business Administration.
