Graduate Certificate

These courses are designed to give a conceptual understanding of systems engineering as a process. This option may be suitable for professionals who may not be actively involved in performing systems engineering tasks, but have management responsibilities in the area.

Admission Requirements:

For admission into the Graduate Certificate program, applicants shall hold an appropriate Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or better (out of a possible 4.0). Applicants must submit an official transcript from their degree granting institution.

Applicants for whom English is not their native language must obtain an appropriate TOEFL score. A minimum TOEFL score of 213 on the computer version or 550 on the paper version is required for admission to SPSU.

  • SyE 6005 Introduction to Systems Engineering (3-0-3)
  • SyE 6010 Managing the Technical Effort Associated with System Creation (3-0-3)
  • SyE 6015 Systems Analysis and System Design (3-0-3)
  • SyE 6020 System Architecture (3-0-3)
