Master of Science Degree
The Master of Science in Systems Engineering is based on the knowledge obtained from both the
Graduate and Advanced Graduate Certificate courses. This option may be suitable for professionals
who wish to advance their training and techniques to a level of expertise in systems engineering.
Admission Requirements:
For admission into the Master of Science Degree program, applicants shall hold an appropriate
Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or better (out of a possible 4.0). Request that all colleges
and universities that you have attended send an official transcript to the Admissions Office.
(NOTE: If you attended Southern Polytechnic State University, you need to send only the
transcripts that are not already on file.) Applicants shall also obtain a GRE “current profile”
score of 350 Verbal, 600 Quantitative and an Analytical Writing score of 4.0 (out of 6.0) or better.
Applicants for whom English is not their native language must obtain an appropriate TOEFL score. A
minimum TOEFL score of 213 on the computer version or 550 on the paper version is required for
admission to SPSU.
Specialized options with the degree program may have additional admission requirements.
